NYFW: Tadashi Shoji S/S 2014

It has been a crazy week of everything fashion and I was like a kid at a candy store. The first show I attended on day one of fashion week was the Tadashi Shoji Spring/Summer collection. The collection included some gorgeous feminine pieces made up of lace, deep pastels, tulle, some feathers and sequins (I was in heaven). Overall the collection consisted of pieces made for young and mature women alike.  What I love most about Tadashi Shoji as a designer is that he is not afraid to design for the plus size woman, his pieces are designed for women of all sizes, he seems to have a good sense of fit and proportion. I will never forget how amazing Octavia Spencer look at the 2012 Oscars in her Tadashi Shoji gown.
Below are just a few of my top picks and pieces that I would totally wear.

I am a sucker for feathers and I immediately turned to my friend and fellow blogger Erika and said I would so wear that!

Come back for more coverage from NYFW, It has been a while since I've posted, but I needed to take a short break for a good reason and I promise to be sharing some amazing great news soon. Lots of good things are happening for the blog and a few changes are on their way. Follow me on Instagram @nacstyles for more or more photos from fashion week.
