Wishing for Warm Days

T-shirt: Zara, Vest: Forever21, Shoes: Aldo Shoes, Bracelets: Cross Oxford Trunk, Skulls Bauble Bar, Watch: NY&CO

Two weeks ago the weather was AMAZING! I was not going to post these pictures because I was not happy with the quality and the end result of the pictures, however, this blast of cold air and snow storm that came through this week made me a little nostalgic of warmer weather. I'm going away for some wedding planning in a few weeks, heading to the Dominican Republic then a quick stop in Miami and I can't wait to go for a swim at beautiful beach while on wedding planning break of course..LOL and  this outfit is definitely coming with me to Miami ;)

Have I mentioned I LOVE Miranda Kerr' style? Only like a million times! When I saw this outfit I immediately wanted to re-create it. The leggings are my favorite piece, I love that these Forever21 versions are not as sheer, it was easy to wear these leggings out during the day.

Rocking the Vote In Heels

Top: Antilia Femme (via Century21), Jeans; Conway, Vest: F21(here), Shoes: Aldo (here)

Election day is here! It has been all over the news and all over our social media. I voted to exercise my 19th amendment right. For my readers in the US I hope you did the same, this a very close election and every single vote counts regardless of what you have heard.
As soon as I entered my vote I drove to my stomping ground in the Bronx to make sure my mother walked next door to her voting location and placed her vote. I am on a mission with heels on today, trying to get everyone I know to vote. While I was there I had my cousin (who wishes to remain nameless) take some photos of me. She did an amazing job for a first timer and she made me laugh the entire time. Thank you nameless prima (cousin)!!! LOL

Happy Election day!

Before & After Sandy

Top: Old, Blazer: Zara, Pants: H&M, Shoes: CL, Necklace: Loehmanns (old) Watch: NY&CO Bracelet: Oia Jules, Sunnies: Ray Ban

So I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago, I was not going to post these because I had already posted the Leather & Prints. These pants are different but are very similar in color so I wanted to wait before posting this look. That was all before Hurricane Sandy hit. My town is still without power and trees are still blocking some streets and roads. I am extremely grateful that I can sit here and work on this post, and that I still have a home. A lot of people in the tri-state area can't say the same.
Below you will find some photos I took while driving around the morning after Sandy while checking on my neighbors and friends who lost communication during the storm.

About my outfit, as you can tell I am obsessed with this leather trend, I saw this blazer at Zara and didn't think twice about purchasing it. This is was the perfect outfit to wear for a sunday night date with the fiancé. The Cord Pants are also on my list of favorite fall trends and the combination of the color and material of these pants are perfect.

Quick note about my bracelet, I had an outfit idea in mind in honor of breast cancer awareness month. I wanted to post at the end of the month as a wrap up and reminder that more and more women are getting diagnosed with breast cancer every day, it is not just an october thing. I found this bracelet that donates $12.50 of each bracelet sold to a breast cancer research foundation. It is such a fabulous little bracelet and it is for a good cause I love it and have been wearing it with everything. Of course Sandy changed my plans for that post as the event I was going to attend was cancelled, but as soon as I get a chance I will post about my outfit for the cure ;)
I hope to get power back this weekend and back to posting more outfits soon.
